Amazon Promise is a U.S. non-profit organization, exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Under state law, which will vary from state to state, and federal law, which may change annually, a large portion, if not all of your trip is tax deductible in the United States. Likewise, monetary donations made in the U.S. are tax deductible.

Celine Cousteau	It is an extremely gratifying thing to be able to give much needed medical attention to such remote and disadvantaged places. To give relief to even one person is something so direct and the feeling associated with this act is so immediate.

Engineers without Borders	EWB is an international network of practicing engineers and engineering students whose mission is to promote sustainable development in such areas as water supply and sanitation, housing and construction, energy, transportation and communication, income generation, and employment creation. The New York professional chapter of Engineers Without Borders (EWB) has taken the lead in collaborating with Amazon Promise to design and construct the Belen Clinic. Soy Capaz	Soy Capaz is Amazon Promise's HIV-prevention, education, and patient care program. The blog Something's Stirring in the Amazon Jungle contains information about the program and includes our most recent trip reports.

Amazon Community Animal Rescue	The upper Amazon's first official domestic animal welfare organization founded in July, 2004. Amazon c.a.r.e.s. seeks better health and living conditions for ALL living beings of the Peruvian Amazon region. This includes appropriate care, respect, and protection from cruelty and neglect.

Girls on Top	Girls on Top discovered Amazon Promise on our third fundraising expedtion from Australia and are extremely proud and excited to be able to support work to create a clinic for the people of Belen. Our teams of ordinary Aussie women take a 200km high altitude fundraising expedition each year to open up the world of adventure, wonder and life-changing contribution to Women with Altitude - women seeking a way to travel that really makes a difference to their own lives - and the welfare of others. People all over Australia donate to our project and connect with grassroots, life-changing projects that support conservation and human life - and enrich the world we share. Amazon Promise is an incredible bridge between the abundance, expertise and generosity of people from the world's most privilaged nations, and the beauty, passion, resilience and determination of those living and working in parts of the world where life is tougher.
