Medical supplies and medications are a continual need for both Amazon Promise’s jungle and city clinics. Amazon Promise purchases the majority of medicines needed, but they are often low-quality and some things cannot be found in Peru or are extremely expensive. Additionally, many program volunteers purchase or solicit medical supplies or medications from their community and bring them down to Peru. However, we are always in need of more. Licensed medical practitioners can also order medications and supplies through MAP International or Americares, and/or various pharmaceutical companies.
If you would like more information about donating supplies, equipment, or medicines, please contact Abigail Scherrer at abigail@amazonpromise.org.
